MASKAN has experience of liaising with regional and local authorities and other related consultant disciplines. This is illustrated in our team input in major planning applications and studies; as part of this, they have built good working relationships with other stakeholders such as ATLAS, SPT, English Heritage, Sustrans and many others.

WALID is an architect & urban designer with demonstrated knowledge and skills in a range of subjects from housing, urban strategy, regeneration, movement/ connectivity and place making to masterplanning and public realm design.
Walid has contributed to and led design works, including preparation of drawings and presentation material such as master plans, design principles and policies for several SUEs and rehabilitation projects. The work included the development of frameworks, briefs and design guidance and regeneration proposals.
WALID worked as an Architect and Urban Design adviser for 4 local planning authorities with design responsibility of almost 20,000 new housing unit which include 4 major SUEs.
WALID experience in the field of movement and connectivity analysis for streets networksenable him to provide quality analysis and direct the consultation work within the real world of urban design and highway practice.
WALID is passionate about urban design and this is grounded in the movement/ connectivity and typo-morphology understanding. Linkedin.
